Terms & Conditions

Standard T&Cs

1. Cancellation Policy
The pupil must give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel a lesson. Any lesson cancelled within this period must be paid for in full.

2. Payment Terms
Payment for each driving lesson must be made in full at least 24 hours before the booked lesson time. Any changes to bookings must be agreed between you and your instructor.

3. Non-Attendance
After arriving at your nominated pick-up point, if there is no response or contact cannot be made within approximately 10 minutes, the lesson will be abandoned and charged in full. In this situation, the instructor will attempt to make contact. If the pupil does not respond within 7 days, any future allocated time slots may be cancelled.

4. Repeated Cancellations
Any pupil who cancels lessons on 3 or more consecutive occasions may lose any future allocated time slots. The instructor also reserves the right to refuse further lessons at their discretion.

5. Licence & Legal Requirements
You must hold a current and valid driving licence (provisional, full, or international) and produce it on or before your first lesson.
You must be fit to drive in accordance with UK legal and medical requirements.

6. Fitness to Drive (Alcohol/Drugs)
A lesson may be refused if the instructor believes the pupil is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The lesson will still be charged in full.

7. Conduct During Lessons

  • The use of mobile phones or electronic devices is strictly prohibited during lessons, except in emergencies.
  • Smoking in the vehicle is not permitted under any circumstances.

8. Driving Test Bookings (Instructor’s Car)

If using the instructor’s car for a driving test, a minimum 2-hour booking is required. This covers the pre-test lesson, the test itself, and the return journey.

9. Payments & Vouchers Validity
All payments and vouchers must be used within 12 months of receipt. After this period, they will be forfeited.

10. Responsibility for Offences
All instruction follows UK traffic law. The pupil is fully responsible for any traffic offences committed while in control of the vehicle.

11. Instructor Discretion
The instructor reserves the right to refuse or cancel any lesson at their discretion.

12. Instructor Availability (Tests)
In the event of illness or mechanical failure preventing the instructor from attending a booked driving test, the instructor will arrange and cover the cost of a replacement test. This is the limit of the instructor’s liability.

13. Vehicle Safety for Tests
In the interest of public safety, the instructor may withdraw the use of the training vehicle for a test if they believe it would be unsafe for the pupil to proceed.
